Call for Art Submissions
We are currently accepting art submissions for the Spring 2011 issue (23.2). Art should be forwarded on CD to our mailing address or emailed to art@othervoices.ca by Feb 1, 2011.
We accept a maximum of ten pieces (high resolution .jpg or .bmp, minimum 300 dpi). Each piece should be accompanied by the following: name, title, date and media choices. Please visit the ‘Submit’ page for more information.
Other Voices normally publishes one feature artist. This artist’s work will be prominently displayed on the cover and in the middle of the book in full colour. The artist will also be featured in a written interview and will receive a modest honorarium for her or his work in addition to contributors’ copies and a subscription.
Periodically, we also accept secondary artists. Any secondary artwork will be published in black and white throughout the book. The secondary artist will receive the same benefits as other contributors; contributors’ copies and a subscription.
We suggest you browse previous issues of Other Voices before submitting your work to increase your chances of being accepted.
Submission deadline is Feb 1, 2011 (received by).
