October is Read Alberta Magazines Month
Celebrate and show your support for your favourite made-in-Alberta magazine by picking up a copy today! Courtesy of the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association, RAMM is a month long promotional blitz designed to encourage readers to read local to discover the many amazing titles grown right in our own backyards. That means you’re staying connected to your community and supporting Alberta’s writers, designers, photographers and much more.
As a thank you, AMPA is offering a Read and Win contest where two winners will each receive a Canmore getaway—a luxury two-night stay at the Blackstone Mountain Lodge or the Mystic Springs Chalets, courtesy of Travel Alberta and Bellstar Resorts.
The launch party for RAMM starts in Calgary on Thursday, October 2 at Art Central (100 7th Ave. SW) from 5 to 9 pm.
If you’re a fellow Edmontonian like us, come to the Edmonton launch party happening on Thursday, October 16 at Latitude 53 (10248 – 106 Street) from 5 to 7 pm. Other Voices will be in attendance along with past Other Voices contributer, Pierrette Requier, Dr. Ruth DyckFehderau (featured in Unlimited), and speaker Don Iveson.
