Other Voices Workshops
Summer Youth Writing Camps
Live the life of a writer for a week, learning what day-to-day life is like, what kind of writing exercises they use, how they get their ideas, how they get them on the page and most importantly how to get them published. Submit your own work to literary journals across the continent then finish with your very own literary magazine and launch party, and the skills you need for a successful future career as a writer!
Workshops are Monday thru Friday from 9:30 to 4:30, with a magazine launch on the Friday afternoon.
Deadline for Registrations:
June 30 for July Camps
July 31 for August Camps
Note: This program requires 8 participants per group to run.

Rural Rights Youth Action and Media Project
Other Voices is teaming up with Edmonton’s Change for Children to facilitate three Zine publishing workshops in North, South and Central rural Alberta. Digital versions of the zines created in these workshops will be available as they are produced.
